WHAT IS WOMEN FOR KAI?

Women For Kai is a movement for Hawai’i, our keiki and our ‘ohana. Led by Maria Kahele, Senator Kai Kahele’s wife, it’s an alliance of strong wāhine and mākuahine building the future of Hawai’i for our keiki.

Women For Kai prioritize safety in our schools and our communities for all Hawaii’s keiki.

Women For Kai support equal pay for equal work and seek to improve gender workplace diversity in Hawaiʻi.

Women For Kai support workforce job opportunities for our children upon graduation.

Women For Kai identify solutions to reduce poverty & homelessness in Hawaiʻi.

Women For Kai honor the contributions of our kūpuna, making sure our kūpuna are not abused, taken advantage of, or abandoned.

Women For Kai want a cleaner, sustainable, and environmentally friendly Hawaiʻi.

Women For Kai fight for women’s health and well-being, including reproductive and health care access.

Women For Kai are strong wāhine who serve as role models for Hawai’i’s keiki.
