Team Kahele Canvass AJA Hall Precinct of Hilo

HILO, Hawaiʻi – Team Kahele was back out on a overcast Saturday afternoon to canvass another 500 homes in the AJA Hall voting precinct of Hilo. With over 25 volunteers attending this afternoons canvass event, Team Kahele covered 500 homes in less than 2 hours and continued to share Senator Gil Kaheleʻs campaign message, platform and aloha.
 
Mahalo to all our hard working volunteers that attended and endured the afternoon Hilo rain squalls, your dedication and hard work are greatly appreciated!

Kahele attends Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaiʻi – State Senator Gil Kahele attended the honoring of the US Armyʻs 442nd Regimental Combat Team the 100th Infantry Battalion and the Military Intelligence Serviceʻs contributions during World War II today in Kona. Replicaʻs of the official Congressional Gold Medalʻs were given to 70 living and passed on veterans of the Nisei units during a ceremony today at the Kekuaokalani Gym in Kona. The ceremony was lead by Ret. General Robert E. Lee and was also attended by Hawaiʻi Island Mayor Billy Kenoi.
